Thanks to everyone who participated in the Tour of Oak Brook (TOOB) race. The Results are below. We realize that registration in the morning was a frustration and apologize to those who were log-jammed in the process. We feel terrible, but the good news is it fixable and we'll be sure to fine-tune it next year. We appreciate your patience and the overall understanding of the situation.

Important note about the results: The Master’s Cat 4/5 finish was not captured on film and thus all results were not accurate past the first 10 finishers. For an unknown reason, the camera was turned off and thus only the first 10 or so racers were recorded by the officials at the table. You will see a line in the results table, and results below that line are not pure. At least the top ten were sorted out and this only happened in one grouping of racers. The officials feel bad about their error.

To the good, the weather did not include any heavy rain and the course received many complements. The turnout of racers was fantastic. The most important issues regarding course marshalling, traffic control, and safety were handled very well. It also was nice to see homeowners coming out to watch and enjoy the spectacle of a bike race going by their front yards. Thanks again for coming out and enjoying the Illinois State Championship Road Race with us. Winners will be mailed their jerseys as soon as possible.

You may have noticed a whole group of photographers around the course and finish line. At times it seemed like the entire Tour de France press corps was covering the event. But it was a dedicated group of local photographers working together as a team to capture every image they could from start to finish. Their pictures are available on line for purchase and if they sell enough pictures, they may start giving comprehensive coverage of more of our events.
